Licencje edukacyjne przynależą do jednego z trzech typów określonych literą : C - komputery w pracowniach szkół lub uczelni, komputery osobiste prowadzących zajęcia, S - studenci (licencje do użytku na sprzęcie osobistym), T - komputery w salach szkoleniowych Zamawiającego (firmy - Partnera, mającego swoją wersję edukacyjną). Sam typ licencji nie wprowadza żadnych ograniczeń ani różnic w działaniu aktywowanego tą licencją programu, ale w praktyce różnią się tym, że licencje typu C można przedłużyć na kolejny rok, a licencja typu S wygasa po roku.<br/>
