List of standards and methods used during conducting the selection and calculations

Net-san

Gravity sewerage network

  1. Flow stream for rainwater:
    • PN EN 752-4 Standard
    • Karl and Klauss R. Imhoff: Kanalizacja miast i oczyszczanie ścieków.
  2. Hydraulic calculations of partly filled sections:
    • flow calculated due to Bretting’s formula.
    • pressure drop calculated due to Prandtl-Colebrook formula.
  3. The self-defecation:
    • due to the method of boundary shear stress.
  4. The network draft:
    • authorized method which meets the required minimum and maximum depth gradient and collisions with other networks.
  5. Sizing the diameters:
    • basing on the summary flow and according to the fill ratio.
  6. Local pressure drops:
    • is taken into accounts basing on roughness of the pipe taken from the catalogue data or on the standard ATV-DVWK A110P.

Pressure sewerage network

  1. Pumping stations:
    • are based on the work: Karl and Klauss R. Imhoff: „Kanalizacja miast i oczyszczanie ścieków” and authorised methods.
  2. Calculations of pipes completely filled:
    • due to Colebrooke-White’s formula.
  3. Sizing diameters:
    • including the Rmin and Rmax.
  4. Network draft:
    • authorized method.

Water pipeline

  1. Calculations of pipes completely filled:
    • due to Colebrooke-White’s formula.
  2. Sizing diamteres:
    • including the vmax and Rmax.
  3. Network draft:
    • authorized method.
  4. Including the local pressure drops:
    • enabled by the ability of declaring the dzeta for knickpoints.
