Description
When the terminal unit connection system is not compatible with the connection pipe system, the following diagnostic message is displayed:
- terminal unit connection system from other catalogue than connection pipes
In addition, the inconsistency of the connection system with the pipe catalogue for the connection pipes results in very long calculations, due to problems in selecting connections between the two different systems. The rank of the diagnostic message depends on the design context in which it occurs:
- It is an error message if the difference is related to the default connection system derived from the General data window.
- It is a warning message when the difference is related to the connection system specified in the Data table window for the selected terminal units.
Solution
Heating systems
- Change in the General data window, Radiators/Radiator valves - types and default data tab, of settings in the Default radiator connection system fields assigned to subsequent types of Radiators, to a system selected from pipe catalogue for the Branch/TU connection pipe component.
- Change in the Terminal unit conn. system field in the Data table window for selected terminal units.
Water supply systems
- Change in the General data window, Fixtures and draw-off points tab, of default settings in the System of connections for other water outlet points field to a system selected from pipe catalogue for the Branch/TU connection pipe component.
- Change in the System of connections for other water outlet points field in the Data table window for selected water outlet points.
