How to create the schematic view with remote connections

Problem description

There are some peculiarities of creation the Schematic view ­ for the system with Remote connection. The path of generating such Schematic view ­ is detailed in this article.

Solution

• Insert the Starting point element and specify its parameters. For more information, see: Starting point.
• Insert the Endpoint before the first Remote connection in the pair. The point should be placed on the pipe-runs from the source side.
• Insert the next Starting point element after the second Remote connection in the pair.
• Run the function Generate.
• Modify the Schematic view ­ if necessary. For more information, see: Automatically generate schematic views and How to modify an automatically generated schematic view.

Note: If the Remote connection isn’t the last element in the sequence of installation, the program requires one more starting point to Generate schematic view.

The installation fragments starting with the different starting points can be presented on separate sheets or on one Worksheet in separate fragments:

The separate fragments can easily be combined into entire scheme after exporting to DWG format.
